About the Founder
My love for beautiful pieces of timber goes back to my childhood in South Africa, where homes were filled with solid wooden furniture that left a lasting impression on me. That early inspiration grew into a lifelong passion for craftsmanship and creativity.
As a young man, I ventured to England in search of adventure and spent seven years learning the trade of carpentry and joinery. There, I developed my technical skills and appreciation for fine woodworking. Upon returning to South Africa, I launched my own furniture and shopfitting business, working with respected brands like Disney, Wimpy, Reggies, and Coricraft.
But custom, one-of-a-kind pieces have always been where my heart is. I’ve spent years learning, experimenting, and pushing boundaries—finding new ways to transform timber into something meaningful, beautiful, and lasting.
Since moving to Australia in 2013, I’ve continued to evolve my craft, perfecting the art of combining natural hardwoods with coloured resin to create pieces that are both functional and visually stunning.
